This means that the salary cap for this year will not go up nearly as much short stories (single author) as teams were expected. Mike Anderson and short stories (single author) Trevor Pryce are already cap casualties. Names like Kerry Collins, Warrick Dunn, short stories (single author) Derrick Brooks, and even Brett Favre are just a small list of the names of guys that may be let go. All of this should provide for an interesting 2006 NFL season. However, its 2007 I'm worried about. There is a possiblity of the league either going on strike, locking out, or playing a season without the salary cap. Union President Gene Upshaw said that if the salary cap goes, it ain't coming back. Having no salary cap I believe would be a complete disaster for the NFL. I believe that all sports should have a salary cap, and that baseball isn't as good as it could be because of this.
